Austin welcomed us with open arms for our second to last workshop of 2017. The vibes throughout the day were so uplifting and inspiring. Barr Mansion & Artisan Ballroom hosted us and we fell in love with their historic, sustainable, and earthy vibes. We couldn’t have pulled off this day without Kate of Wild Sky Events. Kate worked in the neutral colors of the landscape into her design that complimented the venue. The weather was just right and we were able to greet and chat with attendees in the venue’s outdoor space. Wild Sky Events created boho vibes to kick off the day with a delicious coffee bar (Lucky Lab Coffee) under a teepee tent (Indie House Event Rentals) filled with indie style furniture (Birch & Brass Vintage Rentals).

Our dear friend Kaleigh of Méldeen nailed the event signage yet again by creating cloth signage that hung from the teepee tent, slate table numbers, and menus on wooden cutouts. Her creativity continues to amaze us and we are so happy we had a chance to visit her city! Other things we were loving from the day include:The yarn stage backdrop (Wild Sky Events+ ERGO), The beautiful floral decor (Color Theory Collective), and the sweet meringues at our place settings (Feathers and Frosting). Another one of our favorites was the breakfast spread (Contigo Catering). I think we had first, seconds, and thirds of the strawberry coffee cake and egg frittata (no judgement)! Check out more of the Insta-worthy details from the day captured by the Talented Sophie Epton Photography!

The motto for the day was “Imagine, Create, and Repeat” and we experienced just that all day long with our lovely speakers. Local pros including Stephanie Barro (Bouquets of Austin), Christina Carroll (Christina Carroll Photography), Anthony Conforti (Greenbelt DJ Productions), Clara Hough (House of Hough), Jessica Moore (Something To Celebrate), Judy Smith (Pecan Springs Ranch), and Kaleigh Wiese (Méldeen) opened up about their real life business experiences. We also go to hear from Samantha Roberts, Social Media & Digital Marketing Strategist (Social Media 2.0), Brian Leahy of Brian Leahy Photos (Network to Net Worth), Sam Jacobson of Ideaction Consulting (Your Top Pricing Questions–Answered!), and Emily Clarke of Emily Clarke Events (Writing The Role You Want In Your Business). We appreciate all that they shared with us!

The feast style lunch was served in Barr Mansion’s farmstead ballroom. The room was filled by the fresh blue linens (La Tavola Fine Linens), the cool menu and table numbers (Méldeen), and stunning floral centerpieces (Color Theory Collective). During the break, we got some sugar thanks to Simply Delicious Custom Cakes, who made us delicious treats.

The education sessions ended with Emily Clarke having us all stand up and scream what we are good at! It was the perfect ending to the day. After that we headed over to the lawn for our cocktail party under a tidewater tent (Premiere Events). The tent was decked out with colorful ribbon and festoon lighting (The Color Condition). We also go to enjoy flavored popcorn (Cornucopia), sweet eats (Feathers and Frosting), and fun photo booth shots (Photo Buzz Studios). Texas Professional Disc Jockey played all our favorites and had everyone dancing. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Thank you for the love Austin!
