Three times a year, we host a multi-day event for bridal salon owners called The Knot Couture Show. Salon owners get to see all the latest bridal fashions and work with designer reps onsite to talk trends and order new merchandise for their salons. Couture is a unique and totally personal experience that makes it easy and pretty glamorous for bridal salon owners to pick what styles they want to carry in the coming year.
On the East Coast, we always time Couture alongside New York Bridal Fashion Week in the spring and the fall. And on the West Coast? This year, we tried something new. We just wrapped up Couture- Las Vegas, and we can’t wait to share all the details. Hosting Couture in one of the wedding capitals of the US seemed so fitting. And we were able to work with some seriously amazing partners like Destinations by Design, who designed the decor for the Couture show and our Retro Pool Party (more on that later). Check out the glitz and glam of Couture, captured by our friend Stephen Salazar!
Wendy Rivera, International Bridal Boutique & Weddings Professional Specialist, shared great insights with attendees during her exclusive presentations Monday & Tuesday mornings. Covering topics like “Finding Your Voice in a Crowded Marketplace” and “7 Lies Bridal Boutiques Believe”, Wendy’s presentations really resonated with the crowd.
On Saturday night, we partnered up with Las Vegas planner Andrea Eppolito to host a retro pool party with W Hotel at the SLS Hotel/SLS Retro Pool for Couture attendees. And we went all out with the vintage pool party theme. Think: high waisted swimsuits, pink flamingos and delicious cocktails.
