3 Wedding Flower Trends Taking Over 2017

We know, we know. Just because it’s a trend doesn’t make it right for you or your couples. That’s true. You certainly don’t have to run off and create one of these for your Instagram feed. But here’s what we do know: Creative flower arrangements are making a HUGE comeback. Beyond the ideas you’ll see below, we’re also seeing bigger bouquets (think pageants or cascades) and lots of greenery (no mistake that Pantone’s color of the year was “greenery”). Here, three of the most popular floral and design trends popping up across the country!

1. Dangling Flowers and Decor

Suspended flowers, mixed with Edison bulbs or cafe lights are popping up across the country as the way to make a big statement.

2. Flower-Wrapped Swing Seating

Sounds weird but we’re seeing designers add swings into the reception design for a twist on the typical wedding lounge. We’re seeing them hanging from beams and decorated with flowers. We’re also seeing stand-alone swings (like the kind you might see on a front porch).

3. Natural-Inspired Decor (Especially Trees)

We’re seeing the tree and topiary trend make a huge comeback this year and it’s all about bringing the outside in. Tall centerpieces topped with greenery overhead creates an intimate look and feel (not to mention a totally jaw-dropping design).
