And The Average Cost Of A Wedding Is…

Friends: Our tenth (yes tenth!) annual couples survey, The Knot Real Weddings Survey, hit the wire today and the results are interesting to say the least. The average cost of a wedding is at an all-time high at $35,329 and spend is up across most categories throughout the U.S. Our survey is the largest study of its kind. This year more than 13,000 couples who had planned a wedding and got married in 2016 completed the survey. Our in-house research and insights team compiled the data to give you the national average as well as the average cost of weddings across the country (because obviously a wedding in Manhattan costs more than a wedding in Omaha!).

Average Cost of a Wedding: $35,329

(That’s up from $32,641 in 2015!)
