Did you know? All wedding pros who partner with The Knot have a dedicated Strategy Specialist who knows the ins and outs of their account. Whether you’re looking for expert advice on how to optimize your Storefront on TheKnot.com or searching for quick tips on how to ask couples for reviews, our team of Strategy Specialists are here for you.

So, who are our experts? Get to know the team through our new mini-series! First up, Sarah Selph:

blog

Name: Sarah Selph

Hometown: Holdrege, Nebraska

What’s the #1 most played song on your iPod? “What Do You Mean?” by Justin Beiber.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? This is a hard one! I love all types of food and trying new things, but I’ll say…Tacos, with chips and salsa.

How long have you been with The Knot? 11 years (I started 7 months before I got married!).

What do you enjoy the most about being a Strategy Specialist? I love learning what makes each local organization unique and helping them market their business to our couples in the most effective way.

How do you keep up with the latest wedding trends? You mean other than The Knot Annual Real Weddings Study? Often times our wedding pros give us the inside scoop on the latest things they’ve seen at recent weddings. I also love checking our pictures from their Real Weddings albums on Storefronts on TheKnot.com.

What’s the #1 tip you give to wedding professionals? It’s so incredibly important to make the most out of your marketing efforts – from using professional photos, having a complete Storefront and website, to the way you treat each client when they walk through your door. You need to spend some time on your marketing, think it all through, make sure it’s consistent and see where you might need to make improvements. If you aren’t sure what you could do better, always ask!
