Set expectations: 88% of consumers say they trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations. When requesting a review, provide prompts to help guide your recent client as to what you would like specific feedback on. This will help create an array of quality, authentic reviews that showcase all facets of your business.
Make it timely: 85% of consumers read up to 10 reviews before forming an opinion about a business. Satisfy potential clients by getting at least 10 reviews–for the biggest impact make sure they are recent and positive (make the request within 7-10 days of the wedding date).
Make it really easy for past clients to leave you a review: Use a simple email template or check out the easy review requester tool in The Knot My Account. For potential clients, be sure to post recent reviews on your website, social media, online profiles and anywhere else where you are reaching couples.
