Time for round two of our series of expert “Life Hacks” articles (with a wedding professional twist, of course!) — provided by top wedding industry professionals!
This article was contributed by Wedding Industry Expert Natalie Good, PBC™, professional Bridal Consultant, owner and designer of A Good Affair.
1. Immerse Yourself in a Creative Environment- my office is designed and decorated in our style and brand to always remind me and my team of our cohesive style. When you surround yourself with items that evoke your creativity it adds to your service and sells your style to potential clients. They will believe in your product so much more and you benefit from the results of being in a space that makes you happy and creative.
2. Stay Organized- We found a program called Asana to be a life saver! My team and I are often on the go and it can be hard to communicate with one another. Plus as planners keeping track of what each client needs from you can be overwhelming. This program is free and your team each has a profile under your company. I can assign projects to team members under each job. It is truly amazing and keeps you so organized!
3. Form Forms Forms- I am a sucker for a great form! At A Good Affair we have created an Consultation Survey that we send to potential clients to fill out and return in order to confirm their appointment. Within this document we ask everything from their event logistics to how they met and how he proposed! This gives us great conversation starters when we sit down and meet as well as information about what they are looking for from us. We feel like we already know them before they even walk through our doors!
